Chiefs AFC Championship Game
The Kansas City Chiefs lost the AFC championship game last night to New England Patriots.
For the first time, I felt so disappointed by this.
It’s the negated game winning interception caused by a silly offside.
It’s the sequential 3rd down conversions by Pats using essentially the same plays.
It’s the sad ending in OT without any offensive play.
It’s the ineffective clock management to give Pats too much and us too little.
It’s the uncreative defensive strategies. No blitzing Brady or other stronger rushing attempts when it’s obvious our covers aren’t working.
It’s the uninspiring first half when we were held to scoreless.
We have a very clear path forward, though. Keep up our amazing offensive capabilities and spend serious effort in revamping our defensive capabilities so that they are more aggressive and not so easily predicted.
See you next season.
