Comey Hearing

Comey Firing led to a former FBI Director to sit in open session with Senate Intelligence Committee and state unequivocally that the President of The United States is a liar and has interfered with FBI’s active investigations.

I think 3 things right now

• We are just getting started. If Comey is ready to lay this out in this manner, imagine what he’s already planned to help with Mueller’s special investigation.
• Comey says that Trump’s tweet about “tapes” led directly to him putting the pieces in play to get a special counsel assigned. How crazy is this? Where would we be without that “tapes” tweet?!
• The amount of allegations that Comey has made today under oath is already enough to met the Watergate criteria (smoking gun tape) of starting the impeachment process. Obviously, this is only a testimony from one person, but if Mueller proves JUST this true… And Mueller is supposedly the “left no stone unturned” type.

Unbelievable events.

As I commented to a friend, for any future political drama on TV, it’s now a requirement to involve assassinations, nukes and military coups. Otherwise, the script wouldn’t even be better than real life.
