National Security Council

Trump set up his National Security Council today.

When you think of the term “National Security Council”, what comes to mind?

You need people with knowledge about foreign policy, armed forces, and intelligence, at a minimal, right?

Trump has decided to remove from permanent position the following:

• Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (military advisor)
• Director of National Intelligence (intelligence advisor)

Instead, he added White House Chief Strategist - Steve Bannon - to a permanent position.
